ANNE GEORGE

Anne’s vast experience in the world of performance and presentation has provided her with a wealth of knowledge and a whole host of tools and techniques which she now incorporates into her fitness & well-being sessions, NLP workshops and Dance classes.
Anne was born into the entertainment profession and made her mark as a professional Dancer/Choreographer, Magician/Illusionist (Past winner of the much coveted Craig Trophy USA presented by the International Brotherhood of Magicians), Compere/MC & Actress (Guildhall School of Music and Drama Certification). She has performed in Theatres and Cabaret venues nationwide and made several Television appearances. In 1996 she became managing director of the Trevor George Entertainment Agency, a leading name in the industry and built an international reputation for herself in nurturing and mentoring performers and public speakers. Anne is still regularly called upon to speak at various events and training sessions nationwide.
Anne founded STAIRWAY COACHING in 2014 focusing on Fitness and well-being, mind and body. She teaches many styles of dance and fitness sessions for all ages and abilities regularly in the Torbay area and is frequently booked to run fun, dance workshops and events all over the South- West. Anne is also a qualified NLP practitioner teaching courses and presenting workshops for people who want to improve their self- confidence, memory and communication skills. She can also be booked for a “Stress-Busting” group session with Laughter Yoga and Mindfulness for those who live busy lives and may have lost the ability to truly laugh and let go. We believe that everybody should “Take time to Laugh, it is the music of the soul.”
AMI LAUREN
Ami studied dance and musical theatre from the age of 3, winning certificates in many styles and moving on to working as a professional dancer in theatre and cabaret venues in Devon and Cornwall. In 2009 she completed her diploma in Popular Music at the Midlands Academy of Dance and Drama and travelled nationally working for pantomime giants Q’dos Productions as lead vocalist, actress and dancer for three consecutive years. Summer seasons were spent performing in many of the premier holiday venues including Pontins, Haven, Shearings, Beverley Holidays and Brittany Ferries.
In addition to her work as a popular solo artiste, Ami has fronted several vocal/dance troupes and currently features as a member of the well-known Bananarama tribute show “The Bunch”.
Ami has a wealth of experience and expertise in teaching dance and fitness programmes for all ages and abilities. Styles include Street, Jazz, Tap, Cheer (with Pom Poms), Musical theatre, Bollywood, Disco and many more. Clients include schools, private clients, EF Language students, parties, corporate events and special occasions. She is well-known for the beautiful wedding, first dance, choreography that she creates bespoke for numerous happy couples and also for her popular “finding your voice” singing for fun and well-being classes.
